Deep Cleaning (SRP)

ALL IN ONE DENTAL SERVICES

When Is The Right Time For a Deep Cleaning?

Our Dentist will perform a complete periodontal examination and explain to you the conditions of your gums and underlying bone. The first stage gum disease is gingivitis. Gingivitis is treated by a good dental cleaning and instructing the patient on proper brushing and flossing at home. If gingivitis is not treated, it may proceed to periodontitis, a more serious condition, which involves the loss of bone.
At that time, a patient will need a deep cleaning called Scaling and Root Planing (SRP) to begin the treatment. This treatment involves removing plaque and calculus deposited on teeth and smoothing the roots’ surfaces.

Our Dentist will inform you of which service is right for you, and along with her excellent certified dental hygienist, will treat you.
